Precision Tile runs this website. This page explains what happens to information about you when you use it or contact us. It is written plainly on purpose. If anything here is unclear, call (973) 979-7326 and ask.

The short version

There is no contact form on this site, no account to create and nothing to buy. We do not sell, rent or trade information about you to anyone, for any purpose. Nothing that measures your visit runs unless you allow it.

What you give us directly

When you call or text (973) 979-7326 we receive whatever you choose to send: your name, your phone number, your address if you want an estimate, and any photos of the room you text us. We use it to answer you, to quote the work and to carry it out. That is the whole purpose.

Calls and text messages sit in the phone records and messaging history of the phone carrier we use, the same as any other call or text. We keep enquiry details for as long as we may need them for the job, for warranty questions afterwards and for our tax and accounting records, then we stop keeping them.

What the website collects on its own

The site is hosted by Netlify. Like every web host, Netlify records requests to the server, which includes your IP address, the page you asked for, the time, and your browser and device type. Those records exist to serve the site, to keep it available and to block abuse. We do not use them to build a profile of you.

We do not run advertising trackers, social media pixels, session recording or heat mapping on this site. The fonts are served from this site rather than from a font network, so loading a page does not tell a third party you were here.

Cookies and measurement

The site stores one thing in your browser without asking: your answer to the cookie notice, so it does not ask again on the next page. Anything that measures how the site is used stays switched off until you accept it, and you can change your answer at any time. The Cookie Policy sets out the detail and how to withdraw consent.

Who else sees it

A small number of service providers handle information because they run the plumbing:

• Netlify, which hosts the site and serves the pages you are reading.
• Our mobile carrier, which carries the calls and text messages you send us.
• Our accountant and, where a job requires it, our insurer, for records that relate to the work.

We disclose information beyond that only where the law requires it, or where it is needed to establish or defend a legal claim. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Children

This site is aimed at homeowners and property managers. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us something, call us and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Where the law gives you a right to a copy of it, or a right to object to how we use it, we will honour that. Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you those rights formally; we apply them to everyone who asks either way.

To make a request, call or text (973) 979-7326 and say what you want done. We may need to confirm you are who you say you are before we act on a request about someone's records, which is protection for you rather than an obstacle. We will answer within 45 days, and we will tell you if we need longer.

If we ever refuse a request, we will tell you why, and you may appeal by replying to that answer.

Keeping it safe

The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry details live on a password protected phone. No system is perfect, and we do not pretend otherwise, but we do not hold payment card numbers, bank details or government identification numbers on this website at any point.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be obvious on the page rather than buried.
